WEEKLY FLOW:
Monday [Earth, stewards]: clay and weaving projects
Tuesday [Fire, warriors]: fire houses, cobb oven focaccia mosaics, charcoal drawing
Wednesday [Wind, innovators]: book making, paper making, origami, and zines
Thursday [Water, protectors]: watercolor project, cyanotype
Throughout the week there is a concentrated story that is explored in different ways for each day. The story is told first without the visual reference of pictures; then made into a puppet show; and then into a performance where the children become the story. The final phase is applying the story into a mad lib!
Friday is not a camp day, but a day to attend a family potluck and experience an outdoor art gallery exhibiting the children's creative processes from the week.
*3 ½ yo will be considered based on independence level [i.e. potty training and language development]
